Oh how I wish I had one of these… They are all hand made by the man you see playing it here. Its called the GuitarViol. Loosely based on the apeggione, its been used in several movie soundtracks including There Will Be Blood (in which Jonny Greenwood uses one to perform every orchestral string part in the entire movie) and Clash Of The Titans.
The only problem with this instrument is that the model I want costs $7,777…
